TERMS & CONDITIONS
INTRODUCTION
The terms “we”, “us”, “our” and “Studifahrten” refer to Studifahrten GmbH. The term “you” refers to the customer visiting the Website and/or contributing content on this Website. This Website is offered to you conditioned upon your acceptance without modification of any/all the terms, conditions, and notices set forth below (collectively, the “Agreement”). The agreement is arranged between the customer and Studifahrten. By accessing or using this Website in any manner and making a booking for the trips organized by Studifahrten, you agree to be bound by the Agreement ( Terms and Conditions) and represent that you have read and understood its terms. Please read the Agreement (Terms and Conditions) carefully, as it contains information concerning your legal rights and limitations on these rights. All services and sales offered by Studifahrten subsidiary of Coole Jungs whose registered office is as stated at the bottom of the page. T&C indicates Terms and Conditions hence forwards.

BOOKING AND PAYMENTS
After a full payment transferred by you to our bank account, your seat will be booked and guaranteed for all trips arranged by Studifahrten. A booking can be accepted under these conditions that full payment has been collected and held by Studifahrten.
Euro is the only currency that we may accept for all the trip fees and expenses for services organized by Studifahrten. Studifahrten assumes no liability for any exchange rates difference, bank fee or transfer charges.
After the full payment is received by Studifahrten, confirmation of your booking is subject to availability and at the discretion of Studifahrten. We will reserve your seat on the selected trip. But it is solely the responsibility of you, the customer, to check the accuracy of the booking information and the dates of travel.
You will receive a payment confirmation e-mail within 3 days after your bank transfer.. This confirmation document is not necessary for participation in the selected tour, since we always have our bank account and passenger list with us. But it is still advised to make sure that you have a confirmation from us before the trip starts. If Studifahrten representative realizes that the booking information are untrue or in violation of our T&C, Studifahrten representative reserves the right to refuse one’s entrance to the bus.
TRAVEL SERVICE DESCRIPTION
One-day trips organized by Studifahrten don’t include any accommodation, but for the trips, which takes more than one day include shared accommodation for each night and round-trip transportation with a comfortable rented bus. For your room requests, you will receive an e-mail and we always try to do our best about your room wishes.
Studifahrten keeps the permission to change/amend the execution of trips due to unavoidable reasons. This includes cancellation of trip itself. As a result of a cancellation of the trip you will receive the full refund.
On each bus we have a guide who will help you to feel comfortable. All Studifahrten guides provide communication between you and organizers and the bus driver. You can contact him/her any time, if you would like to have information about the travel details. Please bear in mind that they are not professional sightseeing guides and any sightseeing tours won’t be offered by them.
CONTRACTING PARTIES
The booking conditions detailed herein contain the entire contract between you and Studifahrten. No representation, term, warranty or condition can be expressed or implied by reference to any other writing, advertisement or conversation.
Your contract is with Studifahrten. We reserve the right to nominate to you in writing any other company or person to have the benefit of some or all of the provisions of this contract, which Studifahrten may then specify, as if you had agreed to the provisions concerned directly with that company or person.
Studifahrten as a Travel Agency makes contracts directly with coaches, boats, hostels, hotels and other service providers. All bookings with carriers and other service providers are subject to their T&C and limitations of liability. It is important to note that some of these limit or exclude liability in respect of death, personal injury, delay and loss or damage to baggage. Studifahrten will not accept any responsibility for any loss as a result of such actions or as a result of any act or omission of any third party.
Travel and accommodation services are provided by Studifahrten and they are contracted to third party providers. They are subject to the T&C, and limitations of liability imposed by the service provider. By booking and paying for a tour, you agree to and accept the T&C in this document.
PASSENGER RESPONSIBILITIES
It is your responsibility to be in possession of a valid passport, visa permits, vaccinations, preventative medicines and other medical certificates and all necessary travel documents. We are not liable for damages arising from changes in regulations or laws to the necessary travel document requirements. We provide information about these matters in good faith, however without liability. We are not responsible if you are refused entry to a country because you lack the correct passport, visa or other documentation. In the case of lost or stolen documents, while we are happy to assist in any way possible, we cannot be held responsible for any additional costs and you are not entitled to any reimbursement or compensation of paid travel expenses. Studifahrten teamer retains the right to exclude from the bus at any time during the tour, if you are travelling with invalid documents.
You agree to comply with the authority of the Studifahrten teamers, and the laws and regulations of the counties of destination, including customs and foreign exchange restrictions. If you do not comply with said reservations, you will be asked by the Studifahrten travel advisor to leave the trip. You will not get any refunds under such circumstances.
It can be times when the Studifahrten teamer must make a decision for the safety and/or the best interests of the group. It is a condition of booking that you comply with the authority and decisions of the Studifahrten teamer. If you do not comply, or if in the opinion of the Studifahrten teamer you are not compatible with the general enjoyment of the group or the smooth operation of the trip, Studifahrten reserves the right to refuse to allow you to continue with the trip. You agree that Studifahrten has the exclusive right dispel you from a tour at anytime, without any claims or complaints by you against Studifahrten. In such a case Studifahrten will not be liable for any refund, compensation, or additional costs incurred by you.
Any fines / penalties, additional costs and legal consequences arising from any situations mentioned in sections above will be borne by you with no liability on Studifahrten.
You agree to comply and acknowledge the fact that all trips are tailor-made for young adults between the age bracket of 5 through 55 years. Bookers who do not give their exact birthdate will be denied to participate the trip and a cancellation of their ticket will be carried out based on our cancellations policy lined out in sections below.
If you have a question regarding the age groups or want to ask for exception, you are welcome to discuss this with a Studifahrten staff member.
To come to the departure point on time is on your behalf. If you miss the bus regarding to any reasons, hereby you accept that we might charge you for extra incurred travel costs. The passengers who miss the departure time or have any problem with transportation which you are going to take from your location to departure point due to delay or cancelation of the transportation, don’t have a right to request for a refund. Travelers should be on the specified departure point and time 15 minutes before and it is just traveler’s responsibility. Studifahrten assumes no liability if transportation arranged by you to come to the departure point departs or arrives later than our departure time. This will be applied as well, even if you miss a connecting service.
Studifahrten takes no responsibility for your personal belongings and you are the one who should take care of your belongings at any time. Studifahrten is not liable for loss, damage or theft to any of your personal belongings, regardless of the circumstances.
You agree that Studifahrten may take photographs and films of you while you are participating our trip. With taking part on the trip you automatically agree that these images may be used for marketing purposes by Studifahrten. These images may be used in our brochures, websites, print media and promotional videos. These images may be used for publicity and advertising without Studifahrten obtaining further consent or payment for the use of the images. If you would like to be excluded, please inform the Studifahrten photographer on the trip and stay away from the camera.
EXTRA ACTIVITIES & EXCURSIONS
Extra activities (such as boat party or pub crawl) and excursions can be purchased from Studifahrten merchandise at your chosen destination. Our prices of your travel package exclude extra activities and excursions (unless otherwise stated). Any additional cost is in your responsibility.
Any activities and excursions purchased by you are run by local operators and you will be subject to their T&C and will be paid to them in the destination.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Studifahrten does not offer any insurance for its tour or package, ticket, or product.
It is highly recommended guests arrange medical and personal insurance to cover any medical expenses, loss of baggage, loss of personal belongings, or other such travel mishaps. Guests agree both the company and any local partner operators are not liable for any of such unforeseen circumstances, and hold both parties harmless. All claims to reimbursements for insurance must go directly through the insurance provider, and not through Studifahrten.
Travel Guarantee of Studifahrten is bonded by a mandatory German Guarantee Foundation. This guarantees the amount that you paid in booking your trip as well as your repatriation in the event of insolvency/bankruptcy by Studifahrten. The document can be found below at the end of the page.
WEATHER-, ENVIRONMENTAL-, INFRASTRUCTURAL- & POLITICAL CONDITIONS
Studifahrten assumes no liability for any delay, or cancellation due to weather or traffic conditions. You can not cancel trips at anytime due to weather or traffic conditions.
Studifahrten takes no responsibility for delays, or partial cancellations due to the unusual circumstances of force majeure, defined here as war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, flight cancellation or any other external circumstances beyond the control of Studifahrten.
CANCELLATIONS/CHANGES
Any discounted fares, promotion fares, sale fares and package deals are non-transferable and non-refundable and may be used only buy the person who purchased this item.
Your purchased seat can be transferred to another person. Under this circumstance you need to pay a change fee for each event of change of 10 €. You must do this change and payment.
The departure city can be changed by the travellers, if there is still availability on required bus . For these changes 10 € (change fee) and the fee difference because of the departure point ( If there is any) must be paid.
If you are willing to change your departure city or name, you need to send us an e-mail through info@studifahrten.de
The departure city can be changed by Studifahrten as well if there are not enough travellers from that particular city for the trip and it is financially not logical to pick up a few travellers from that city. In that case the travellers will be asked to join from the nearest possible departure city or will get a full refund for the trip fee they paid.
Money refund: A refund will be processed by Studifahrten within 14 working days. The bank account details used for the payment have to be provided, in order to receive the money back.
Cancellation of a trip booking by you is irreversible.
The following cancellation and refund policies apply:
Days before departure:
31 days or more 100% refund
25-30 days 80% refund
17-24 days 50% refund
8-16 days 25% refund
0-7 days 0% refund
There will not be any refund for unused portion of a ticket or partially completed trip. Although tours may be cancelled/or a plan change occurs by Studifahrten due to a shortage of minimum number of passengers or other unavoidable circumstances. Studifahrten has the right to cancel/change tours up to 48 hours before departure. In the event a tour is cancelled/changed, you will be informed via email or phone. In this case you will receive a full refund for the amount paid in 14 days after the cancellation of the trip.
BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE
1 x hand luggage to take inside of the bus in the size of 20 cm x 30 cm x 10 cm, as heavy as you can carry. :)
1 x check-in luggage to be put in the trunk in the size of 55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm, as heavy as you can carry. :)
Please bear in mind that you will not be able to reach your luggage until we arrive to the last stop where you should leave the bus.
If you would like to leave your belongings on the bus, you should take this into consideration that the responsibility is fully on your behalf.
It is not permitted to bring live animals, dangerous or illegal goods with you on a tour organized by Studifahrten. Any liabilities caused by carrying restricted items will be taken over only by you.
