PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING

We are a travel agency offering bus travel services in English.
We travel by buses, touristic coaches with semi-reclining seats.

You do not have to be a student to join our trips. Most of our travellers are Expats.

The age limit for travelling with us is from 3 to 55 years old.

The ticket price for the kids is the same as adults. Every person no matter of age needs a ticket.

You can take a stroller for the kid with you, and we can put it in the trunk of the bus.

If you wish to bring your guests who are older than 55 years old, it is possible only if you join the trip with them.

Please book your trips in advance, because they are getting sold out when the date approaches.

If a trip is marked as sold out, then there are no seats available for that trip.

Please do not call us and ask if we have seats for that trip when it says sold out.

But you can get on the waiting list by sending an email to info@studifahrten.de.

Every traveller needs their physical passport while travelling.

The soft copy of the passport is not accepted as a valid travel document.

SWITZERLAND SCENIC TRAIN JOURNEY

AROSA,CHUR,HEIDIDORF&RHEINFALLS

AROSA - Alpine Beauty at the End of the Line

Located high in the Graubünden Alps at around 1,800 meters above sea level, Arosa is a charming mountain village reached by one of Switzerland’s most scenic railway routes.
Surrounded by pristine forests, snow-covered peaks, and crystal-clear alpine lakes, Arosa offers a peaceful and refreshing escape from everyday life. The village is beautifully set around its two iconic lakes – Obersee and Untersee – which create a postcard-perfect setting in every season.
Just few steps from the railway station, visitors can access mountain lifts and panoramic viewpoints such as Weisshorn and Hörnli. From these peaks, breathtaking views open across the Alpine landscape, offering unforgettable photo opportunities.
Whether in winter with its snowy charm or during warmer seasons with green mountain meadows, Arosa combines natural beauty, fresh mountain air, and a relaxed alpine atmosphere – all reached by an unforgettable train journey.

CHUR – Switzerland’s Oldest City & Gateway to the Alps
Chur is not only the oldest city in Switzerland, but also the starting point of some of the country’s most famous scenic train routes.
Situated in a wide Alpine valley along the River Plessur, Chur blends over 5,000 years of history with vibrant modern life. Its compact old town, with charming winding streets and historic architecture, lies just minutes from the main railway station.
The city is surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery, yet maintains a lively urban character with shops, cafés, and cultural landmarks.

Chur is more than just a transit stop – it is a gateway to the Swiss Alps and the beginning of a truly scenic rail adventure.

HEIDIDORF

Heididorf is a themed alpine village located near Maienfeld in Switzerland, dedicated to the famous Heidi stories by Johanna Spyri. It recreates a traditional Alpine setting, allowing visitors to experience the atmosphere of classic 19th-century Swiss mountain life in an authentic and immersive way.

RHINE WATERFALLS

Rhine Falls is the largest waterfall in Europe by water volume, located on the Rhine River near Schaffhausen, Switzerland. Its powerful cascade creates a dramatic natural spectacle, especially in spring and summer when the water flow is at its peak.

Well-developed viewing platforms and walking paths allow visitors to get remarkably close to the falls and experience the full force and energy of nature in an immersive way.

Trip Plan

👉 03.07.2026 - Friday
- Departure from Germany (Please check the departure cities below)

👉 04.07.2026 - Saturday

- Early in the morning we will arrive in Chur. Those who wish may continue by train to Arosa, a scenic mountain resort high in the Alps. We recommend spending around four hours in Arosa, which is the most optimal amount of time to enjoy mountain views and relaxed alpine atmosphere. Here, you can also take a cable car that rises to over 2,400 meters, offering breath-taking panoramic views of the surrounding Alps. At the top, you can enjoy a lunch in a restaurant, surrounded by the stunning alpine scenery. In addition, Arosa offers charming horse-drawn carriage rides, providing a graceful and memorable way to explore the resort and its landscapes.

Afterwards, you will return by train to Chur, where you will have free time to explore the historic old town, stroll through its charming streets, and enjoy the city at your own pace.

From Chur, we will continue to Heididorf, where we can enjoy a relaxing walk through the village and its picturesque surroundings (please note that the museum itself will be closed). The area beautifully reflects the atmosphere of a traditional Swiss Alpine village and captures the spirit of the famous Heidi story.

During the walk, visitors will be surrounded by scenic mountain landscapes, green meadows, and charming traditional Swiss houses, creating a peaceful and authentic Alpine experience.

And to conclude the day on a truly unforgettable note, we will visit the illuminated Rhine Falls to admire the waterfalls in the evening before our departure back to Germany. A one-hour stop will give us time to enjoy the magical atmosphere, take photos, and experience the beauty of Europe’s largest waterfall beautifully lit after sunset.

👉 05.07.2026 - Sunday

- We will arrive back on Saturday night to Sunday morning according to your departure cities.
