Then we will head to Colmar. Colmar is a town with many attractions and an undeniable charm all its own including half-timbered houses, canals and the flower-decked town centre, etc. It offers all the intimacy of a medium-sized town and a remarkably diverse range of heritage sites! Come along and discover all the charm of the historical town centre with its famous "Petite Venise" or the Unterlinden Museum for culture lovers. A town definitely worth visiting for anyone keen to discover the gentle Alsatian lifestyle.

At the end of our trip, we will head to Strasbourg.

Strasbourg is a vibrant city on the border of France and Germany, known for its stunning Gothic cathedral, picturesque old town called La Petite France, and beautiful canals. It combines French charm with German influence, offering cozy streets, impressive architecture, and a lively cultural atmosphere.

We start on Friday evening / night from Germany to France.

👉 Saturday, 18.07.2026 – Strasbourg, Colmar & Eguisheim Trip

Early in the morning we arrive in Eguisheim and visit this charming Alsatian village, known for its colorful half-timbered houses, flower-filled streets, and circular old town. You’ll have time to stroll through the narrow lanes, take photos, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of one of the most beautiful villages in France.

Afterwards, we head to Colmar, where we will spend around 3.5 hours. In Colmar you can explore the picturesque “Little Venice” area, walk along the canals, visit local boutiques, and discover landmarks such as the Unterlinden Museum or the impressive Saint Martin’s Church. There will also be time to relax in a café and enjoy traditional Alsatian cuisine or pastries.

In the afternoon we continue to Strasbourg, where we will spend approximately 5 hours. Here you can visit the stunning Strasbourg Cathedral, wander through the historic La Petite France district with its canals and half-timbered houses, and enjoy a boat tour on the Ill River. Strasbourg also offers excellent shopping streets, cozy restaurants, and plenty of opportunities to experience the unique blend of French and German culture before we return.
