Keukenhof Tulip Gardens

Keukenhof, also known as the Garden of Europe, is one of the world's largest flower gardens. It is situated in Lisse, the Netherlands. According to the official website for the Keukenhof Park, approximately 7 million flower bulbs are planted annually in the park, which covers an area of 32 hectares.

Trip itinerary

Day 1 – Friday

 

Departures

We start on Friday night from the cities in the south like Stuttgart, Karlsruhe, Mannheim, Frankfurt

 

Day 2 – Saturday

And we start on Saturday morning from the cities in the West like Dortmund, Essen, Düsseldorf, Cologne and Aachen. Arrival to Keukenhof Tulip Gardens is always early in the morning or before noon.

The Bulb Growing Region's Flower Parade is one of the most famous flower pageants in the world. It is truly unique, with colourful floats decorated using flowering bulbs including hyacinths, tulips and daffodils.

On a special Saturday the Flower Parade of the Bollenstreek travels the 40 km long route from Noordwijk to Haarlem. Around 15:30 the Flower Parade will pass by Keukenhof, along the renamed Keukenhofboulevard on the side of the main carpark.

The departure from Keukenhof will be around 19:30 as soon as the park closes.

Day 3 – Sunday

Arrival

Arrival to Germany on Saturday night to  Sunday morning. NRW busses will arrive home before-around midnight, the buses from the south will arrive on Sunday morning.
