We start on Friday evening / night from Germany to Hallstatt!

 

Saturday, 25.03.2017 - Hallstatt & Salzburg

​

Early in the morning we arrive to Hallstatt and enjoy the beautiful village. Take out your cameras, it will be worth taking pictures. Here we stay for three hours which is totally enough for having breakfast, enjoying the view and taking pictures. In addition to its ancient history, Hallstatt is spectacularly picturesque, due to its location on a narrow rocky west bank of the Hallstättersee with the sheer rising mountains behind it. Considered by some to be one of the most beautiful places on earth, Hallstatt is called "the pearl of Austria". After 3-4 hours in Hallstatt we are heading to Salzburg, birthplace of Mozart, is a city in central Austria, near the German (Bavarian) border with a population of some 150.000 in 2013.

At noon we will arrive to Salzburg. Here we will have a guided tour for 1,5 hours.  Salzburg is the fourth-largest city in Austria and the capital of the federal state of Salzburg. Its "Old Town", with its world famous baroque architecture, is one of the best-preserved city centers in the German-speaking world and was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997.

In the evening we will start our journey back to Germany.
